Our approach

Superself Ltd., trading as Superself Labs, uses optional analytics on superself.ai and arc.superself.ai only after you explicitly accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent the website or enquiry form from working.

Necessary local storage

We store one first-party local-storage record, superself_analytics_consent, to remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics, the consent version, and the date and time of your decision. This preference is necessary to remember and apply your choice. It is not used to measure site use.

Optional PostHog analytics

If you accept, we use PostHog to understand visits and interactions, diagnose usability issues, and improve the website. PostHog sets a host-only first-party cookie and browser-storage records beginning ph_, plus an opt-in record beginning __ph_opt_in_out_. These can contain an anonymous identifier, session identifiers, attribution information, analytics persistence data, and the PostHog opt-in state.

With consent, PostHog may collect page URLs, referring pages, clicks and other interactions, browser and device information, screen or viewport information, timestamps, IP address and approximate location derived from it, performance information, and session-replay data. Form inputs are masked in replay. We do not call PostHog’s identify method on this website.

The legal basis for this optional processing is your consent. No PostHog SDK is loaded, no PostHog request is made, and no PostHog identifier is created while your choice is undecided.

Change or withdraw your choice

Use the Cookie settings control in any page footer. Withdrawal takes effect immediately for future collection: analytics is opted out, replay is stopped, and removable PostHog cookies and browser storage are cleared. It does not require PostHog to erase data lawfully collected before withdrawal.

Retention and hosting

This site’s PostHog project is configured on PostHog US Cloud. Analytics events are currently configured for retention for up to 84 months. Session recordings are configured for 30 days; deletion after expiry may not be instantaneous. We review these periods as the service develops.

PostHog acts as an analytics processor and uses infrastructure and other subprocessors for its US Cloud service. PostHog’s current subprocessors and locations are maintained in its privacy information. The list can change, so that current PostHog notice should be checked for the latest details.
